About me
My why
I know what it’s like to be in love with motherhood but not feel like yourself anymore.
Before kids, I was climbing the career ladder at speed. After becoming a mum, that version of me seemed to disappear overnight. I went from thriving on challenge to constantly dropping balls, my confidence and ambition quietly slipping away. I adore being a mum (it’s my favourite job in the world!), but losing the part of me that was driven and creative made me feel like a failure.
Then came the realisation that the jokes about me being ADHD might have some truth to them. The brain I’d spent years masking was suddenly overwhelmed; every symptom seemed to be exacerbated. Add in the crushing mum guilt and endless comparison to other mums who seemed to be “doing it all,” and I was burning out faster than my coffee could go cold.
That’s why I created Lost to Lit Up, to give you what I wish I’d had when I returned to work after maternity leave: a space to understand yourself, your brain, and your needs, so you can make confident decisions that actually fit your life, your family, and your future.
Because you deserve to have the best of both worlds: to be a brilliant mum AND feel lit up by the work that makes you you.

I want you to have the best of both worlds - it is possible!
Hey, I'm Annabella (or Bella). I have two high-energy (aka ADHD) little boys and a strong-willed baby girl. We live in Brighton, England. I've been lucky enough to live and work in multiple countries, including France, the US and Australia. As such, I've been told on multiple occasions that I have a 'funny accent'! I’ve worked as a Marketing Director in a variety of different industries and small to large organisations. Managing people and leading teams has always been the part of the job I love the most and after having a positive experience with coaching myself (both life and executive coaching), I decided to train as a coach. My coaching style is rooted in empathy, positivity and honesty. I use Positive Psychology, NLP and thought-provoking questions during my sessions.
